Gold-Plated Amethyst Questions

We actually create them ourselves! We work with a family owned mine in Uruguay that has some of the most beautiful aaa-grade amethysts that you will ever see! 

Our gold-plated amethysts are plated with 24k gold to bring you some of the shiniest, most sparkliest amethysts you'll ever see!

Once we have completed the plating process we seal the final layer of gold with two layers of clear protectant. This assists with keeping the gold from deteriorating and helps to keep fingerprints and smudges from showing. It's best to minimize touching the amethyst so that the piece keeps its shiny and new look.

As with any gold product, the oils from your hands can have an adverse effect on its look. Try to clean your hands prior to holding to reduce these oils from getting on your amethyst. You can use a soft wipe to clean the amethyst. We include a microfiber dust bag with every purchase and it's great for storing your amethyst during travel and also wiping smudges off!

We place your gold-plated amethyst into a branded microfiber dust bag and package it with a piece of selenite and quartz. Actually every purchase over $75 receives a special piece of selenite and a lovely quartz point!

Candle with Amethyst Cluster Questions

We use a coconut wax blend that not only burns super clean, but it also smells so yummy your entire space will thank you!


  1. Take the lid off of the candle
  2. Hold the bottom of the candle lid tightly with one of your hands and grip the amethyst cluster firmly with your other hand. When you feel like you have both items tightly held slowly twist the amethyst with some power.
  3. Some amethysts have a small space between the lid and amethyst cluster. If this is the case with your candle lid, you may be able to slip a flathead screwdriver underneath, which should allow you to wiggle the flathead slowly which may loosen the glues grip a bit.
  4. Once the amethyst is separated from the lid grab yourself either a few cotton balls, a cotton pad or a folded paper towel and some rubbing alcohol. Soak the cotton or paper towel with the rubbing alcohol and place it on the removed amethyst cluster. Allow it it sit for about five minutes. Remove the cotton or paper towel and wipe the area down with warm, soapy water. The glue should be loosened enough to allow you to carefully scrape away the glue with the edge of a putty knife or another safe to use edge.
  5. Place your amethyst cluster in a space you're looking to elevate and enjoy!

Most orders are packaged and shipped the day we receive your order! We send all of our packages USPS Priority Mail, so you should receive your package in 3 - 5 business days.

We charge a flat rate of $10 for all domestic orders that are under $75. Any order that is more than $75 ships free domestic USA!

Returns & Refunds Questions

We will accept store credit for all orders, however, it is the financial responsibility of the purchaser to send back the item(s) to us.

All items must be like in new, unused condition. Please email us at hello@minedgoodes.com to see how we can rectify your situation.

A return and store credit request can be submitted within 15-days after the purchase is made.

In the case when the product and packaging are unopened and undamaged, you are eligible for a full store credit.

In the case when the packaging has been opened and the product has been used, you are not eligible for a store credit.
